Instagram is a Social Media Platform that was launched in the year 2010. Initially, the users were able to post their media (photos & videos) on their accounts. If their account is private, then the users following them will be able to view their posts. If their account is public, then anyone who reaches out to them can view their content.
Instagram was launched only for Apple users at the beginning although there was a huge number of people who downloaded the app. Instagram gained a large audience very soon. In 2012, Instagram was launched on Android phones too. For years Instagram has developed so many features including Filters, Instagram Stories, Story Highlights, Live, IGTV videos, reels, etc. Also, more than 2 Billion active users are using Instagram Worldwide now.
To make the platform more productive, Instagram is actively looking to explore NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). The Ceo of Instagram, Mr. Adam Mosseri told in an AMA (ask me anything) that the platform is looking into NFTs, for reaching out to NFTs to more audiences. Two weeks before, On a Saturday, his Instagram Stories were a series of Questions. One of them asked about the unification of NFTs feature with Instagram, he answered that “Nothing to announce yet, but we are actively exploring NFTs and how we can make them more accessible to a wider audience,”. He also added, “I think it’s an interesting place where we can play, and also a way to hopefully help creators“.
Now Let's See What is NFT's?

NFTs or Non-Fungible Tokens are digital documents developed by creators or designers in which they can sell through digital platforms using blockchain technology. Blockchain technology, in simple words, means a system of recording information that is difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system. People who need these items should buy them from the creators. They cannot duplicate or steal them because they are based on Cryptographic technology.
NFTs are still a new thing to many people. Many artists are using NFTs, as their collections are safe and secure. Let’s wait for the update of Instagram to see and learn more about NFTs.
